I don’t remember the first time my dad put a hammer in my hand, but he inspired me to take up woodworking and be my own handyman (he can still fix a lot more than I can). The passion for the craft stuck. As soon as I owned my first garage, I outfitted it to do some serious woodworking.

If I’m not in the shop making something, I’m planning what to do next.

I created Althoff Woodshop to share my love of woodworking with you. Be it through blog posts, YouTube videos or the Woodshop Store. I may not be the cheapest, but I am a big believer in you get what you pay for.
