Base Kit Includes
- Pre-cut and notched pieces for the frame which measures 5 1/8" x 5 1/8"
- 1 Bundle of kumiko strips for use in doing the pattern. The asa-no-ha pattern in this frame uses around half a bundle.

The Asa-No-Ha starter was an excellent way to begin learning Kumiko. All of the basswood were uniform, and free of saw marks, which made the work much more enjoyable and precise. The kit also included enough extra material to allow for mistakes. Had a set of plans, which was incredibly helpful when starting out. You can really tell this company is committed to quality craftsmanship. I would absolutely recommend this product to a friend or anyone interested in getting stared with the art of Kumiko.
The kit parts were well made, packaged well and arrived quickly. I'd definitely buy again.
